Infrastructure
and development.
The same rigor.

Over 8 years operating virtual infrastructure in production for pharmaceutical and banking sectors — VMware, hyperconvergence, systems, security — and developing complete web applications, from data schema to deployment.

01 / trajectory

Experience in every layer.

My foundation is systems engineering: over eight years operating the infrastructure that software runs on. Each layer in this diagram is part of my daily work.

02 / projects

Software with real work behind it.

P.01 / case study · commerce web + admin panel

Taller Sagra

Commerce web for a small business: public storefront for a woodworking shop and, behind the scenes, the tools a business needs to manage its daily operations without relying on third parties. The brand and data are demonstration; the engineering is real and running in production.

  • Catalog, inventory, and portfolio editable from a custom dashboard — no code changes needed
  • Read-only demo access from the public web
  • Verifiable quality: CI on GitHub with E2E tests and ~91% coverage

P.02 / case study · enterprise internal tool

CoreLink

Custom internal social network to meet a company's communication needs: profiles, channel-based posts, messaging, and real-time notifications. Complete case study, deployed and operational in production with demonstration data.

  • Real-time messaging and notifications over SSE, no external services
  • Roles, moderation, and organizations with better-auth
  • One-click demo access from the web

Reliability by default.

8+ years · production environments

A developer who stays on-call understands what happens to code when it hits production. This is the experience I bring by default to every web project.

Global virtualization platform

Operating the virtualization platform for an international pharmaceutical project: over 1,500 hosts and roughly 20,000 virtual machines, from critical workloads to VDI. Migrations, patch management, incident resolution, and service quality improvements; ESXi and cluster configuration, contingency and DR (CUG), hyperconvergence with Nutanix, and Windows and Red Hat systems.

BBVA · since 2024 · N3 engineering

Banking VDI infrastructure

N3 engineering for the virtual desktop platform: physical infrastructure in data center and over 50 hosts with vSAN for roughly 3,000 VDI on Horizon, serving development, automation, management, banking, and treasury teams. Certificate management, platform setup with the SCCM team, Active Directory, and operations with VMware Aria (Operations, Automation) on vSphere, with planned evolution to VCF.

Practice areas

01Virtualization
VMware Suite — vSphere and the evolution toward VCF —, disaster recovery, hyperconvergence, and desktop virtualization with Horizon and Citrix.
02Operating systems
Management of Windows Server, Linux (Red Hat), Unix, and macOS in heterogeneous enterprise environments.
03Networking
Enterprise networking management: DNS, DHCP, LAN and VLAN configuration, monitoring, and incident forecasting.
04Platform security
Patch and vulnerability management, system hardening, and identity and access control with least privilege.
05Continuity and recovery
Backups, replicas, disaster recovery plans, and restoration testing.
0624/7 operations
Critical production environments: monitoring, incident resolution, and procedure documentation.

04 / profile

Learning is the method.

Self-taught in computing since age ten: I learned to program on my own, like most of what I know of the craft. I just finished a Higher Technician degree in Web Application Development and the next step is a degree in Computer Science, while adding courses and certifications along the way.

In teams, I tend to be the glue between people: approachable, reliable, and humble about what I know. I'm motivated by new projects and opportunities that force growth. Outside the keyboard: sports and music.
